Get started with Behamics for Klaviyo
Behamics integrates with Klaviyo to automatically send high-intent shopper events to your Klaviyo account. Once connected, you can trigger personalized flows — abandoned browse reminders, urgency campaigns, personalized offers — the moment Behamics detects a purchase-ready visitor on your site.
How it works
Behamics AI monitors visitor behavior in real time. When a shopper crosses your configured intent threshold, Behamics fires a High_Intent_Lead event directly into Klaviyo, including the shopper’s email and behavioral context. From there, your existing Klaviyo flows take over.
Step 1 — Connect your Klaviyo account
- Log in to your Behamics dashboard.
- Go to Integrations → Klaviyo.
- Click Connect with Klaviyo.
- You’ll be redirected to Klaviyo to authorize the connection. Sign in with your Klaviyo account and click Allow Access.
- You’ll be sent back to Behamics automatically. Your account is now connected.
The connection uses OAuth 2.0 — Behamics never stores your Klaviyo password.
Step 2 — Create a Klaviyo flow
Once connected, set up a flow in Klaviyo triggered by the Behamics event:
- In Klaviyo, go to Flows → Create Flow → Build your own.
- Set the trigger to Metric and search for
High_Intent_Lead. - Build your flow — add email steps, SMS, time delays, or split conditions.
- Activate the flow.
From this point, every high-intent shopper Behamics detects will automatically enter the flow.
Event properties
Each event Behamics sends to Klaviyo includes the following properties you can use in your flow content and filters:
| Property | Description |
|---|---|
email | The shopper’s email address |
videoID | The Behamics session ID |
workflowScore | The intent score (0–100) |
workflowReasoning | A short summary of why this shopper was flagged |
device | The shopper’s device type (desktop / mobile) |
browser | The shopper’s browser |
firstLocation | The first page URL visited in the session |
country | The shopper’s country |
source | Always behamics |
Step 3 — Configure your workflow in Behamics
- In Behamics, go to Workflow Builder.
- Create or edit a workflow and set the Channel to Klaviyo.
- Optionally set a custom event name under channel settings (defaults to
High_Intent_Lead). - Set your intent threshold and save.
Behamics will now start sending qualifying shoppers to Klaviyo in real time.
Disconnecting
To disconnect your Klaviyo account:
- Go to Integrations → Klaviyo in your Behamics dashboard.
- Click Disconnect.
This immediately stops all event forwarding to Klaviyo. Your existing Klaviyo flows and data are not affected.
Troubleshooting
I don’t see the High_Intent_Lead metric in Klaviyo
The metric only appears after Behamics sends the first event. Make sure your Behamics workflow is active and that at least one qualifying session has occurred.
Shoppers are not entering my flow
Check that: (1) the Klaviyo connection is active in your Behamics integrations page, (2) your Behamics workflow is set to the Klaviyo channel, and (3) your Klaviyo flow trigger matches the event name configured in Behamics.
The connection expired or stopped working
Go to Integrations → Klaviyo and reconnect. OAuth tokens are refreshed automatically, but if the refresh fails you may need to reauthorize.
